This Privacy Policy explains how myexpertnetwork.ai(“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use myexpertnetwork.ai (the “Service”). The Service helps independent experts manage consultation requests across expert networks.
What we collect
- Account data: your email address (used to sign in via magic link).
- Profile data: name, title, location, bio, expertise, industries, work history, education, certifications, rate and availability preferences — whatever you choose to add.
- Consultation data: consultation requests, briefings, screening questions and your answers, messages, and call-prep notes — including content received from expert networks via your import address.
- Technical data: log and device data (e.g. IP address) used for security and to operate the Service.
How we use it
- To provide and operate the Service (your inbox, profile, screening, messaging).
- To process emails sent to your import address into structured requests.
- To generate AI assistance (screening-answer suggestions, call-prep briefs).
- To secure the Service and prevent abuse.
Service providers (sub-processors)
We use trusted providers to run the Service. They process data only to provide their function:
- Vercel — application hosting
- Neon — database storage
- Upstash — temporary cache / rate limiting
- Mailgun — receiving and sending email on your behalf
- Resend — sending sign-in (magic link) emails
- Anthropic (Claude) — AI processing of email and profile content. Submitted via Anthropic’s API, which per their policy is not used to train their models.
Sharing with expert networks
When you choose to reply to, or submit screening answers to, an expert network through the Service, the information you submit (your answers, messages, and any profile details you include) is sent to that network. We only share with the network you are responding to, at your direction.
Retention & deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing contact@myexpertnetwork.ai. We will delete your data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to comply with law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict processing of your personal data. To exercise them, contact contact@myexpertnetwork.ai.
Cookies
We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe.
Children
The Service is for professionals aged 18 and over and is not directed at children.
Changes
We may update this policy as the Service evolves. We will update the effective date above and, for material changes, notify you.
